Silymarin
Silymarin is the general term for a large group of flavonolignan compounds. The main pharmacological effects are exerted by silybin (Silibinin), isosilibinin (Isosilibinin), silichristin (silivertrin), and silidianin (Silidianin), with the proportions being 3:1:1:1 respectively. Among them, silybin has the highest content and the highest activity.
Research has shown that it demonstrates certain efficacy in various aspects such as antiviral, anti-infective, anti-tumor, liver protection, and lipid lowering.
